Gentle Hatha Yoga

 

Gentle Hatha Yoga focuses on flexibility.  The postures are held longer so that connecting with your breath becomes essential.  This practice is ideal for those seeking deep relaxation and meditation.

 

Although this particular class is appropriate for those who cannot meet the demands of strenuous exercise,  Hatha remains beneficial and enjoyable for all levels.

 

Vinyasa Flow

 

Rooted in Ashtanga Yoga this is a faster paced class where movement is synchronized with the breath. Vinyasa movements are smooth,  flowing and almost dance-like.  Like all styles of yoga, Vinyasa has both mental and physical benefits.

 

Physically, sweat expels toxins and re-energizes your body. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes your mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout your body.

 

Private Classes

 

One to one or small  group classes (3 or less) is also available in the privacy of your home.  In this setting, specific postures are chosen and the sequence is tailored to maximize mental and physical benefits based on individual needs and desires.
